Global Leadership Alliance (GLA) today announced that Project Facilitator Vicki Martin has received a Conflict Management Certificate from prestigious Cornell University.
GLA Chief Executive Officer Sam Hassoun lauded Vicki for her dedication to client success and commitment to excellence. “Certification in Mediation and Conflict Resolution is a key requirement for every GLA Partnering Facilitator. A skill-set needed to achieve our mission,” said Hassoun.
The Conflict Management Certificate from Cornell University helps give Vicki the tools to turn conflict into a force that builds both company culture and creates competitive advantage. The four-course certificate helps the graduate master the skills needed to assess, scope, and diagnose issues from all sides, understand different personal styles, and implement a proven problem-solving approach to find workable resolutions that strengthen relationships and results.
Martin, who has been a construction Partnering facilitator with GLA since 2019, said: “Conflict happens every day, understanding why and the perspective of all parties involved is critical to the resolution process. I am thrilled to have some new tools in my tool belt when approaching each issue.”
